For example, recent French scores or books may use the English system (this is especially common for chord symbols), but French users would read out that notation according to the Fixed Do system. ![]() Another tendency has been to use the English system in writing but to read it out according to either the Fixed Do or the German system if those are the systems used locally. The only case where this can lead to some confusion is when the letter B is used because it would not be clear whether the intention was for it to be understood as B ♮ (English system) or B ♭ (German system). There has been a tendency in some countries that historically used the Fixed Do key notation or the German key notation to switch to the English system, especially among musicians working in popular music genres or jazz. This is especially common in the Netherlands. However, in some places where the German system is in use one may encounter the use of B for B ♮ and Bes for B ♭. The German key notation differs from the English system in two respects, namely that B ♮ is referred to by the letter H and B ♭ by the letter B by itself, and that sharp and flat designations do not use words but suffix is for sharps and suffix es (reduced to s if the tone letter is a vowel) for flats, except that (as already mentioned) in the German system the letter B by itself already means B flat. German key notation – used (among others) in German, Dutch (in the Netherlands, where it is used along with the English system), Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Icelandic, Finnish, Estonian, Serbian (along with the English system), Croatian, Bosnian, Slovene, Hungarian, Polish, Czech and Slovak.Instead of the letters C, D, E, F, G, A, B, seven syllables (derived from solfege) are used to refer to the seven diatonic tones of C major: Do (in French Do or Ut), Re, Mi, Fa, Sol (never So), La, Si (never Ti), with some variations and adaptations according to country, language and alphabet, followed by the accidental ( natural is clearly most often omitted) and then the major/minor qualifier as needed. Serbia) where Fixed Do solmization is used also use the Fixed Do key notation. Fixed Do key notation – used (among others) in Italian, French, Dutch (in the Dutch-speaking part of Belgium), Spanish, Portuguese, Catalan, Occitan, Breton, Basque, Russian (along with the German system), Ukrainian, Belarusian, Bulgarian, Latvian, Lithuanian (along with the German and English system), Romanian, Greek, Hebrew, Arabic, Persian, Turkish (along with the English system) and Vietnamese. Two notation systems are most commonly found beside the English system, the Fixed Do key notation and the German key notation When a musical key or key signature is referred to in a language other than English, that language may use the usual notation used in English (namely the letters A to G, along with translations of the words sharp, flat, major and minor in that language): languages which use the English system include Irish, Welsh, Hindi, Japanese (based on katakana in iroha order), Korean (based on hangul in ganada order), Chinese, Thai, Indonesian, Filipino, Swahili, Esperanto. ![]()

1/1/2024 0 Comments Cube litening c68x pro 2022![]() The new fork doesn’t really transition its shape into a wider downtube, instead the new fork legs stay wide-set until a more rounded crown and the downtube pulled up higher away from airflow coming off the front tire. From its legs to its crown, the Litening TE fork looks lighter. The other major difference is a significantly thinner fork. The seatpost appears to share the same deeper aero profile of the current bike, a small rear wheel cutout, and still a 3-bolt setscrew clamp from the rear of the seattube.īut the seattube itself likely gets a steeper angle as all of the prototype Cube Litening TE team bikes have been fitted with setback seatposts, while many of the existing model bikes use zero offset posts. Cube, Giro 2022 photo by Cycling Media Agencyįirst, the elimination of the small webbed transition at the seat cluster suggests there may be more aero gainz through a flatter toptube and simply relying on the Kamm tail aero shape of the seattube. There are two most obvious changes in the new prototype Litening TE…Ĭ. At the sprint-heavy start of this year’s Giro d’Italia almost all of the team was still on the deep aero-shaped current Litening, suggesting the older bike may still be stiffer or more aerodynamic.īut by the Giro’s second week when racing got into the big mountains, almost every bike on the team car was the likely lighter Litening TE prototype. The Intermarché-Wanty-Gobert Team seems to have had at least some of these prototypes even since late last season, and since the start of 2022 has started racing them regularly. Cube, Giro 2022 photo by Cycling Media Agency While it retains aero integration, it does however shift back to a more conventional, wider-looking headtube with only subtle hourglass shaping through its mid-section. The bike still looks clearly optimized for aerodynamics, but its overall profile is much thinner and lighter than the current Litening. But beyond the name, quite a lot of this prototype has been reshaped. ![]() The first thing we would possibly surmise is that Cube is keeping the Litening name for this dramatically redesigned road race bike, thanks to the Litening TE labels painted on the prototypes’ toptubes. So I got a bit of a closer look at the new bike… tucked in hidden behind the current Litening, which I rode when it debuted back in 2019… Prototype Development & Testing c. Mixing aerodynamic influences from their current aero road Litening, this new prototype bike gets much thinner from front to back in a lighter shift we expect to completely reshape Cube’s signature road race bike later this summer… CUBE Litening TE prototype lightweight aero road bikeĪlready raced through the steeper stages of the Giro d’Italia last month, I caught another glimpse of the prototype bike this week at the Tour de Suisse. Take for example limited capacity experiences like theaters, airplanes, and cruise lines. You must consider whether traditional business models are going to continue making sense after things “return to normal”. For example, onsite corporate Covid testing in Orange County or any other cities is an important preventative measure that can detect an active case of the virus before it has a chance to spread among your staff. One strategy that can apply to all industries, though, is routine Covid-19 tests for your staff. Are your customers going to change how they think or act after the pandemic passes? Maybe some of them will continue preferring using services or buying products remotely. While the short-term will continue to be dominated by the pandemic, it is important to think about what happens in the midterm as well. Think about the mid-term – is something changing in the way your customers are thinking? If you can temporarily reduce your burn rate to zero (or near zero) it may make the most sense for you to look at other areas to make money (freelancing for example) and then lean back into your business when the timing is right. In the short term, it may not make sense to continue putting the bulk of your time and resources into your business. Then earnestly ask yourself: is this pursuit the best use of my time? Assess your business, look at how much time you’re spending, and understand how much money you’re generating (or could be generating). This pandemic is an excellent opportunity for introspection. One of the hardest things to come to terms with as an entrepreneur is knowing when a business pursuit is worth it. Consider the value of your time – is there something you can be doing – related or otherwise – that’s a more valuable use of your time? While some strategies may not apply cross industry use what you can and make these strategies fit your needs. ![]() Look at both your indirect and direct competition for the best understanding of which strategies seem to be effective. Study the ones that seem to be making it through this crisis and learn what they’re doing differently. Some businesses are suffering more than others right now. Look at your competition – what are they doing and what can you learn? Your business could transform and come out of quarantine stronger for it. If you’re able to capitalize on this now, then when quarantine lifts you may have an entirely new revenue stream to leverage or a whole new business pathway. If you spend time understanding the current landscape of your market and the world, you can reoptimize your business’s positioning. Think about adapting to current market trends in a complementary way.Ĭurrent market trends are going to be difficult to understand and predict, but this might work to your advantage. The key is to run as lean as possible without sacrificing quality. As a CEO/owner you only have so much time and bandwidth. Make sure that any optimizations you make are well thought through. Perhaps there are some areas where you can reduce spending and make up for that by increasing your own effort levels. Many businesses run with excesses, and this is the perfect opportunity to get a leg up on them.Ĭonsider where you can optimize your burn rate. Efficiency is crucial for success and outcompeting rivals. ![]() Think about excess marketing, rent, the size of your company, and other expenses that may be reducible without affecting your standards. Look at where your business is spending, and consider which expenses are. Analyze your ongoing burn-rate in both normal scenarios and ‘bear-bones’ scenarios. Here are seven best pieces of advice for anyone running their own business right now. Whether or not the pandemic ends within a month or a year, small business owners need to be ready to buckle down, reassess, and even make changes to their business strategy in order to weather the storm (and beyond). What’s worse is that some experts are saying this is only the beginning. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic has already hit small businesses hard. ![]() 1/1/2024 0 Comments Rappelz gameplay 2019![]() ![]() When the MMORPG craze was big around 2010, I was there and tried every MMORPG I could get my hand on, the only ones that stuck with me for so long is Vanilla WoW (currently on the Turtle WoW server) and LOTRO is the only other one I've played for so long, my current goal is to complete Fate of Gundabad on my first character the Guardian, which I'm currently in Mordor with. I can't say I've played all of those for a LONG TIME, some I've played for less than a day, some I've played for weeks or months. Probably every game on that list that I forgot to mention, I've tried it. Pretty much every F2P Asian MMORPG from 2007 up to 2015, just check MMOHut's First Look videos by Omer/Remotay: Many, since I discovered MMORPGs around 2006-2007, over hundreds of them: I'm saying this because I play Vanilla WoW side-by-side with LOTRO and I've read the quest text in WoW hundreds of times and it's not that remarkable, but what WoW lacks in lore or storytelling, it compensates in near-perfect latency and client performance, which enables for fun PvP and PvE content, which LOTRO greatly lacks. In other MMORPGs like WoW (I'm talking about Vanilla WoW), you can go through the entire game without reading a single word from the quest text and you won't miss out on much. I think the questing is the best part of LOTRO and you're experiencing the game in the best way possible. The few occasions I've taken part in group content, it's been a nightmare with the lag. Also the lag and performance issues in LOTRO make sure that more players keep to themselves and just spend time in the leveling/crafting part of the game, at least that's what I've been doing. Also PvP and PvE content isn't as big, PvE has dedicated players, but not as in other MMORPGs like WoW for example. LOTRO is the type of MMORPG where story and world are more prominent than other MMORPGs. Over-leveling for me is often not AS fun.īut again, one of the strengths of LOTRO is 'to each their own' is a foundational principle, and gaining every drop of earned XP can totally be your play style instead :-) But for me, it's usually fun to have to use my mechanics to win. I've sometimes over-leveled so-as to thump the crap out of a zone too. This strategy kinda zeros out the XP leveling part of the game, and moves it toward irrelevance. So popping it off strategically, will easily get you leveled up to wherever you need to be next. ![]() You will need to earn needed XP with TSofT back out of your pocket.īut there is many times more XP available, than there is needed, and following any kind of quest line strategy will substantially over-level your character. If getting everything you earn is the goal, and that is a completely legit interest imo, then this isn't a great strategy, because you completely turn off XP progress with TSotT. PS- If you have not completed the main quest to your current point, you might consider doing so on your next character.ofr even filling in the gaps on this one before Moria.but the great thing about LOTRO including just such choices. The TSotT is available in the store for a little change. My friend led me to that strategy, and it made the game such a fun immersion in my case. Generally leveling up to whatever the level of that zone is rated, but of course you might find a sweet spot with a little padding or with a little more challenge, as you like it. Complete the main quest (this has been the essential vein for me), and/or whatever else makes your day, and then pop it back off near the end of your adventures in that zone to level up to what makes the next zone in the main quest fun, whatever that is for you. While adventuring and questing a zone, consider popping the TSotT on, freezing at a level that is whatever you experience simi-competitive fun at. TSotT can keep the combat content immersive as well by freezing your leveling. If you are actually immersing in the quests and story (like you, it's the way to go for me as well) you will out-level the content and for many folks doing it that way, make it more of a face-roll than desired.
